In Jojo's words..."florals are always a go-to for me to reset. Using inks first, this really helped me to work quickly and get my marks down on the paper while creating a beautiful moodiness of black melting into the watery areas. The gold acrylic I felt added a dramatic and grand edge to the artwork and brings out the highlights of the floral."
